Monterey
After spending a night near Hearst Castle, we drove a couple more hours up to Monterey. We had fun checking out little shops and watching for sea otters in the bay. The kids loved the aquarium. #1 was really interested in learning all about the canning of sardines.
Our meals in Monterey were delicious. I ordered crab and the kids actually sampled it! On the recommendation of a friend, we took the kids to a tepanyaki place on the water. They loved watching the cooking show, especially the "volcano".
